Where do you source your gemstones?

This is a long and still evolving process. We have suppliers all over the world: UK, USA, India, Thailand! We are very thankful for the relationships we have & are always looking to expand our suppliers. 

What do you use to create your jewellery?

We use all natural, high quality gemstones, solid gold & silk thread to create our designs. 

How do I know the quality of gold in my piece?

All of our jewellery has been Hallmarked in the UK. You can see the laser hallmark on the clasp to know what karat of gold was used. You can find out what the symbols of the hallmark stand for here.

Why do you knot your designs?

We use traditional knotting techniques to create our beautiful designs. This process helps strengthen the silk and secures your gemstones while separating them to stop them from rubbing and banging together. This technique is traditionally used for stringing delicate pearls. 

What happens if my Sorsa design breaks?

Silk is a beautiful & natural way to string your gemstones, but it is a natural fiber that can wear over time. We know accidents happen - a little one grabs ahold too hard, jewellery gets tangled - the list goes on. We are here to help! If anything happens to your Sorsa Jewellery, please reach out to us on info@sorsajewellery.com and we will provide the details of where to send your repair.
